The space is bright and spacious, with natural light pouring in through large windows, yet it never feels too bustling or crowded. There’s a subtle hum of focused energy here—whether it’s the clacking of laptop keys, the gentle froth of steamed milk, or soft conversations blending seamlessly into the background. It’s a haven for both city wanderers seeking a pause and locals who crave a reliable spot to settle in.

The mood settles around a calm rhythm, inviting you to savor every sip and moment. Whether you’re diving into work or meeting a friend, The Lost Draft’s steady pace and thoughtful layout offer plenty of elbow room and cozy nooks. The air is tinged with fragrant hints of Osmanthus Latte, warm spices of Masala Chai, and the bright freshness of hibiscus lemonade—that playful mix of unexpected flavors mirrors the welcoming, subtly eclectic spirit of the place.

Part of what makes this café special is the genuine warmth radiating from the staff. Their attentiveness and ready smiles create an easygoing kindness that feels rare in the city. You might find yourself lingering over a perfectly crafted iced cortado, or surprised by the delicate touch in their artful lattes, each cup almost too pretty to drink. The staff is super friendly here! This place is great to get work done at, they have tons of tables and power outlets. There’s a bathroom available as well, which not too many cafes have in the city, so a huge bonus. The chocolate chip cookie is homemade and their strawberry matcha is awesome! 10/10 as a cafe connoisseur ↕↕

The staff was so nice and kind. I got a free cookie :D And they were very accommodating with seating. My Yuzu Peach Iced Tea was delicious, it wasn’t over brewed which was great. They were very forthcoming with details aboutlol sugar content in drinks and etc. the bathroom was very clean and nice and the vibes where very cute and spacious— definitely breathable. Maite Was AMAZING!!!!!

I’ve been frequenting this place for about a year. This is my go-to spot to relax or study when I’m in the SoHo area. Spacious, bright, and lively. They have strong A/C, a lot of natural light, plenty of seating, and is quite spacious. Even when it’s busy and packed, it doesn’t feel overwhelming nor crowded. You’ll find a vast array of people come through here - students, shoppers, tourists, etc. It’s a bit of every type of person in NYC. As for the food, I usually get an espresso - pretty solid. Their other drinks are also fairly good. I don’t think I’ve gone wrong with the drinks I’ve had so far. Cookies and pastries are fine. They do have a popcorn machine! A few times I got popcorn on the house. I’m glad to see this place is doing well for itself. This is a nice place to work, to chat with friends, or to just unwind.

Randomly found this café to escape the heat, and wow… I’m so glad I did. Shoutout to the barista Maite for recommending these two drinks and they were AMAZING. I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to for this one. Please try the pistachio latte with sesame cold foam or pandan foam, and the matcha latte with strawberry syrup 10/10.

Amazing staff! Loved my matcha and the cookies were to die for. I’m picky when it comes to matcha. Such a nice comfy atmosphere to work out of.

Stopped by The Lost Draft for an Osmanthus latte - it was smooth but too mild to really catch the osmanthus flavor. The café has a warm, earthy vibe with plenty of seating. It’s a cozy spot to unwind or get some work done.

I’ve been searching for a sesame latte to top the black sesame latte from Tadaima, and the Lost Draft now has my second favorite. The sesame is wonderfully blended and adds an earthy, caramelized flavor to the latte. This is also a great place to work, having good WiFi, outlets, lots of seating, and a bathroom.
